Chefscape is an innovative food incubator, co-working company that provides local food entrepreneurs a fully supportive environment to successfully bring their restaurant and food concepts to each neighborhood market. And for each new location, it is Chefscape’s mission to bring a carefully-curated experience to add value and a positive vibe, tailored to the needs of each unique neighborhood. Our Story

Like many innovations, Chefscape® was born out of a need, after it’s founders, owners/operators of several Food Trucks in the DC Metro area, encountered a problem finding a shared kitchen to rent for their Food Truck operation. What they needed was a convenient and affordable space for the hard work and grit that goes into running a small food business. After opening its first location in Ashburn, Virginia in June of 2016, it quickly became apparent this need was as big and as varied as the culinary palate itself. Fast forward two short years, Chefscape® is now a proud culinary incubator for foodie entrepreneurs to learn, launch and grow their business within a safe, supportive, professional environment.

MEMBERS

Food businesses are not cookie-cutter and neither are our member offerings. We offer kitchen memberships to fit every size and type of food business.  Members will benefit from a wide selection of business support services designed to help them start and grow their food business, including a chance to sell their products in the Marketplace, a chance to test their restaurant concept by operating their Food Hall kiosk, to offer a unique dinner experience to the community in the Private PopUp Kitchen and to offer adult and kid-friendly series of cooking classes in the Cooking Classroom!

NEIGHBORS

Starting this Fall, Chefscape will be operating a vibrant food hall with revolving food concepts offering a variety of unique menus for lunch and dinner, a marketplace to sell gourmet refrigerated and shelf-stable foods (from sauces, to brownies, granola and meal kits), cooking classes for both adults and children and regular events offered by our member chefs in our Classroom Kitchen.  And did we mention the Bar? Yes! Unique and carefully-curated list of special cocktails by our resident mixologists! And, the satisfaction of knowing that menu and marketplace items are made by our member chefs in our on-premise kitchen. Look out for “Made at Chefscape” labels on all products you purchase at our locations.  It just can’t get any more local than this!
