Four of Chefscape’s favorite chefs will be demonstrating delicacies using Edible Blooms at Chefscape’s May 12th Launch Party. Below is a brief bio on each:
Chef Grivas, Co-Founder of NYC’s Pauleens Cuisine formed his palette and cooking style first at his large Greek families’ dinner table and then in the raucous melting pot of cuisines that is NYC, cooking in some of it’s top kitchens. His ability to create inventive menus coupled with a highly developed palette earned him accolades and praise within the restaurant community and today. Pauleen’s is the realization of a 35 year old dream.
Saran (Peter) Kannasute
Master chef at the Sushi Bar Del Ray, in Alexandria – Chef Peter is an award-winning chef, who took first place in the prestigious Hatsume Festival Master Chef Competition in Delray Beach, Florida. Chef Peter, who is originally from Thailand, trained with Japanese Iron Chef Hiroyuki Sakai. His sushi and omakase creations are some of the most inventive and delicious in the DC Metro!
Keisha Washington owns and is Head Chef at Maryland’s TheKeyIngredient and also runs a food blog called Engage Your Palate. A culinary school graduate in Advanced Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, she has been in numerous cooking competitions, winning 1st place and Grand Prize at the NCACS in the Cupcake Challenge.
Chef Eddie Thomas is Founder of Blaze Premium Kitchen and Certified Chef de Cuisine. Blaze aims to combine the scientific understanding of today’s premium cannabis strains with the freshest local ingredients according to complimentary flavor profiles that span across a vast selection of cuisines.
