Chef Claire’s passion for healthy cooking started after she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2012. She was a single mom working long hours, eating a lot of take-out food, and neglected to take care of herself. She discovered ways to cook food that is delicious but without tons of fat, sugar, salt, or overly-processed ingredients. After eating this way, she lost 30 pounds and felt great! She wanted to share her passion for eating healthy so she could help others, so I started FitFoods with Claire.
Chef Claire believes in eating real, whole, unprocessed food as often as possible, and that healthy food can also be tasty and satisfying. The key to getting fit and healthy is having access to these types of food every day. FitFoods with Claire makes this possible and will give you the convenience of eating healthy food without the hassle of doing your own food prep.
A few of the delicious dishes offered by FitFoods are Spicy soba noodle salad with ginger sesame dressing and grilled shrimp, Miso glazed salmon with cauliflower mash and asparagus and Crab cakes with mixed greens and spicy sriracha horseradish sauce!
